Governance
The company is overseen by a 4-member Board of Directors appointed in accordance with the shareholding structure of the company. The board advises management in setting direction and strategy. The group also reviews risk, compliance, sustainability, corporate and social responsibility and approves the company’s financial statements. The profiles of the directors are presented below:
Charles Kobina Annan
Charles Annan is an expert agriculturalist, management consultant, educator, and macro-level project manager. He previously served as both Acting and Deputy Secretary of State for Agriculture in Ghana in the 1980s. He has 40+ years of experience in the agricultural sector in Ghana. More recently he has acted as lead consultant for both the Coastal and Northern Development Authorities supporting the development of medium-term development plans, budgeting, project design and management.
Kwabena Bediako Akosa
Kwabena Akosa is an economist, banker, and agriculturalist. He is married with three teenage children and is currently a resident in Accra, Ghana. He worked collectively for 30 years in Investment Banking with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Goldman Sachs and Royal Bank of Scotland at the Managing and Executive Director level in London. He also has 8 years of commercial banking experience up to board level (General Management, Trade and Payments) in sub-Saharan Africa with the Standard Bank Group.
Sarah Ann Davies-Akosa
Sarah Davies-Akosa is a lawyer, former commodities trader, and the director of a real estate company in the United Kingdom. She is a British national, married with three teenage children and is currently resident in Accra, Ghana. Sarah is a versatile and dynamic executive with over 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas (Tam Oil Ltd), Soft Commodities (Rice & Sugar) and Freight with Cargill Ltd, and latterly with Davies Associates (a UK-based real estate Company with a 25 Building Portfolio). Sarah is a former member of the Baltic Exchange in London.
Dr (Mrs) Abiola Adeniyi
Mrs Adeniyi is a qualified dental public health professional, currently working as an instructor and research associate at the Faculty of Dentistry University of British Columbia, Vancouver Canada. She is a seasoned researcher and her research interest include oral health promotion, access to care and service utilization and integrated oral health care.

Mr Akosa has also been actively involved in the agri-inputs industry in Ghana since 2018. He holds a BSc in Economics from Loughborough University in the UK. He has the key responsibility for planning and setting strategic direction.
